And when you come across a new map its completely black until you walk over it or come close to it as if it was blocked off.

Saying that the map unfolds for you, its completely uncharted and as you see it for the first time it saves it like that.

Showing you where you have been and where you still have to discover.

Alright this is an old forum game that I find to be pretty entertaining, especially when multiple users are on and I have nothing else to do.

It's called would you rather, how it works is, I begin by asking a question, the more random it is, the more fun it is, and the question has to be a would you rather formatted question. I'm really excited for Merrimint to come out I've looked through the website for information and I'm looking forward into playing it!

A la Elysium. You type "" in the chat bar and a emoticon pops up over your head. That idea came to me when I saw the topic icons. I don't know whether you guys are gonna do this or not, but it would accentuate the cuteness. CUTE EMOTES, YAY!

Or alternatively, you could have the player's face change, instead of an emote appearing. You type "" and Merrimint blits the sad character face instead of the default for like, 5 seconds. Or " 10" gives you a sad face for 10 seconds.

Just an idea. ...

Since you're running on mirage, I'm pretty sure the when going from one map to another (not teleportation, map connection) it just shows the other map. Now I think it would be better if the map scrolled to the next map, exactly like the older zelda games. Get it?

I know someone has posted something about player-ran towns and all that. The idea is good. I was actually thinking about a clan/guild type thing, that is original for Merrimint. I figured maybe a family thing might be interesting. This is just a thought and came to me a few minutes ago.

We could have Families, instead of little tags that sits under your name saying what guild/clan you are in; you could have a last name that shows what family you belong too. AKA, what guild/clan you belong ...
